
The
Northville Volunteer Fire Department is a proud organization that has
been serving the people of New Milford, CT for over forty-five years,
providing fire and rescue services to over 7500 living in an area of
nearly twenty-five square miles. With six apparatus, a strong volunteer
force of over 40 firefighters, and a Junior program providing an outlet
for young people to be involved in the fire service, this department
has mantained a level of training and dedication to serve the people of
the community. Feauturing a Rescue truck with a full complement of
equipment, two tankers holding 3000 gallons of water each, two engines
with full suppresion capabilities, and a brush truck, Northville Vol.
Fire Dept. can handle a wide range of calls. Every year, Northville is
called for motor vehicle accidents, structure fires, gas leaks, and
many other types of emergencies. Nearly all personnel are Firefighter I
and II certified, as well as many having EMS certifications. With this
level of training, Northville Vol. Fire Dept. provides a competent and
professional level of service for those in need. The membership is
constantly training, always striving to educate ourselves to better
serve the community.

support our troops who are supporting freedom.
Current Members Griffin Harris and Current Member Scott Kotowski of the
United States Marine Corp, and Past Member Christopher Rehnberg of the
United States Army are stationed in Iraq with their respective
companies. We wish them the best of luck in their missions and pray for
their safe and speedy return.
